Designation: Water Security Research Analyst and Assistant Director, APCWS

Package: 200 – 300K Rmb per year

Job Description:
The water security research analyst and assistant Director of APCWS will work at the School of Environment, Tsinghua University and be responsible for:
a) Assisting the director/deputy director in organizing and managing the daily work of APCWS
b) Providing coordination and technical support for the preparation of the Asian Water Development Outlook;
c) Researching sources for data and knowledge on water security;
d) Making arrangements to link the Program with case studies in ADB-financed projects;
e) Linking information on the Program to ADB’s website;
f) Assisting in the organization of knowledge events at the 2nd Asia-Pacific Water Summit;
g) Supporting Asia-Pacific Water Forum and knowledge hubs activities; and
h) Performing related tasks as may be assigned by the Center and ADB.
Requirements:
a) ME degree or above in Hydrology/Water and Wastewater Engineering/ Water Recourse or Water Environment Management;
b) Experiences in research related work in the fields above listed in Asia-Pacific region;
c) English Proficiency, native English speaker preferred;
d) Excellent organizational, communicational and coordinating skills;
e) Team builder and team leader.
